Gerrity's Ace

Visited the Garrity‘s Ace Hardware located in the Keyser Oak shopping center for the first time today. I needed to find a specific waterproof clear sealer for a bathroom backsplash as well as some minor supplies to go along with it. I expected to spend a good 1520 minutes reading can labels To ensure I got the proper product. But instead, I was immediately greeted by a very nice young Ace associate by the name of Zack. Doesn’t it just make your whole day when somebody not only does their job but they do it very well, with enthusiasm and sincerity. Well, that’s what happened. I spent less than five minutes Getting what I needed thanks to this associate. Very nice experience and though it’s out of my way, I won’t forget, and when I’m in the area, I will absolutely visit this Ace location again.

Great customer service at the Keyser Ave Ace Garden Center! Dale the cashier is a sweetheart! Love her! She helped me sign up for the Ace Rewards and showed me how to download the app for a bonus coupon. I really appreciated how she made me feel like a valued customer. Thanks, Dale! :) I didn't catch the managers name, but she has tattoos (just like me!) and she helped Dale adjust my order due to a sale they had on some Dahlias that didn't discount at the register. Very nice lady! A very kind older woman with short brown hair tried to help me find a plant I was looking for, and even though it was not there, she went out of her way to ask a manager if any would be coming in the next order, so I really appreciated her help. She was busy tending to some plants, but did not seem bothered at all to help me! When I said excuse me, she politely smiled and asked how can I help you. Thank you for your kindness, sweet lady with the short brown hair. :) I enjoyed Billy and his singing! He makes it more fun to shop! He has great happy energy, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Apparently, not all customers enjoy it, which to me, is sad. How can someone not enjoy a happy person being happy while worki

Extremely helpful and friendly store employees. The associate Eric worked with me on perfecting a rusty cat cage that most would consider trash into a beautiful cat condo. Very knowledgeable about what products to use for restoration, helping me conquer every obstacle I had. Trust me I am not a professional DIY person, and returned to the store 3 days in a row with issues and he walked me through it all like a pro!!! Eric is the real MVP, I never would have received such amazing help from a large chain store like Lowe’s or Home Depot. Thank you Eric and Ace Hardware!! I’m grateful and will be a returning customer and direct anyone to your store for any home improvement needs. 10/10 best place ever!!!

Today I explained my project to the Ace salesman (whom resembles Santa Claus) and told him, “I need a bracket to anchor my steering column locking mechanism.” He directed me to a grounding cable bracket which was spot on my mind. Then I asked him to ream out the spring clip’s hole mounting to accommodate the bracket screw and I mounted the spring clip as shown below. The enclosed photos give a description to my final end-product of locking my bike steering column. Very strong indeed. I highly recommend this establishment on Keyser Ave In Scranton.

Not a big fan of Gerritys but this store is on point. I was helped by Rick who asked me for help as soon as I walked in. Very friendly and super helpful. Will shop again when in the area. Thanks for the lag bolts Rick!
